2008 was the most exciting year for Bearapalooza yet! The tour was a great success and we had great shows in Nashville, Sawmill (Florida), Timberfell Lodge in Tennessee, and Millwaukee Pride. Be sure to use the links above to see photos, videos and more on our Flikr, Youtube and Myspace pages! I took a little break from Bearapalooza to work on some recording projects, but over the coming months you will start to see more exciting things happening later in 2009. We are already booked for Sawmill in October, and are now planning events in West Virginia, Millwaukee, and St Louis. Michael is already making preliminary plans for a big event in Baltimore, Gordon Michaels of Bears For Music, is planning a his own New England Tour in association with Bearapalooza, and we are going to be talking to some more resorts and campgrounds as well. So I will be starting to put together a roster of artists interested for 2009 events very soon.I have been very busy the last couple of months. I have three different projects going right now, along with some other miscelaneous singles and mixes. I am co-producing a good portion of Kendall's new record "Truth Changes". We are very excited about the first single "It Doesnt Have to Be a Dream" which we co-wrote and recorded a few weeks ago. I am also starting work on Michael West's new covers project "Borrowed Words". I am making all new arrangments of songs that have been important to him throughout his life. The last audio project I am working on is something very special to me. I am working with Jon Gilbert Leavitt and Charlie K. Brown to create moslty piano/guitar/vocal arrangments of the work of some of my peers. It's not officially a Bearapalooza project, but so far they all happen to be Bearapalooza performers. I know some wonderful songwriters and I would really like to showcase thier work. I am very excited about this project. I also have a video project underway. We have TONS of video from 2008 events and I am tryinng to compile it all into a full length film about Bearapalooza. So far I have managed to catalog just about everything. I want to incoporate anecdotes from perfomers and fans and would love to get a video clip of you talking about a funny or interesting Bearapalooza story, or what it means to you or whatever. So thats the scoop for now. I will be letting everyone know about updates as they happen.I love you all, thank you so much for your support. I will update again soon with more news and audio visual goodies too
